Tokunbo a Social Responsibility – Lead Implementer (ISO 26000) associate consultant and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) practitioner. She has over 15 years transferable skills as a solicitor in England and Wales resolving complex issues in ICT, e-commerce, media, employment, family and commercial law. She has a proven great passion and proactiveness towards, sustainable management, governance, economic, environmental and social impacts in communities.
She offers advice on the implementation of international reporting standards, and sustainability methodologies and provides shared value, corporate social responsibility and sustainable development programmeme solutions. She works with and trains diverse businesses, small and medium size enterprises, government agencies, charities/foundations, educational institutions and individuals on capacity building and strategy development.
Tokunbo manages various socially responsible investment initiatives including educational programme delivery, sustainable business strategies, CSR, corporate philanthropy, community and employee engagement projects.
Tokunbo, the founder of Children, Youth and Women Empowerment (ChiYoWo) initiative, a charity organization, is the recipient of numerous commendations and awards including the prestigious Women4Africa award for her humanitarian and philanthropic work in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. She is an Associate Member of WIMBIZ – Women in Management, Business and Public Service, an organization that promotes all women in all spheres of life, where she is a Mentor and member of the WIMBIZ Editorial Committee.
Tokunbo holds a Law degree (LLB), a First Class in BA (Hons) International Development with NGO Management. She also has a Masters in Law (LLM) Computers and Communication Law from Queen Mary University, London, United Kingdom. She is an alumnus of the Pan Atlantic Univerity, Lagos, Nigeria, where she obtained a certificate in Leadership and NGO Management.
